the chalet was comfortable and well equipped. i could hire bikes on site, made exploring the local area easy. the location proved great for access to everything i wanted to see. the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay (i really appreciated their assistance).
the check-in process required a 100 euro deposit. this deposit was returned after i disposed of the trash, cleaned the kitchen, stripped the beds, and vacuumed the bungalow. i found this expectation surprising for the price.

lacking kitchenwareobstructed view
I was really bummed about a couple of things. first, some of the kitchenware was a bit lacking. It reminded me of they were missing a few essential items, i had to get creative with my cooking. also, the promised lake view from my "three-bedroom chalet" was more of a 'glimpse of the lake between some trees' situation. i expected a fine waterfront view, but alas, it was not to be.

The chalet seemed a bit tired. I think it could use some updating. also, the wi-fi was quite spotty. It made planning my day a real struggle. it was difficult to rely on for looking up local attractions or even just checking emails. this was especially frustrating since i needed it for some basic travel arrangements, though i eventually sorted everything out.

this location was near the city center and nature. walking to the city center was easy. the automatic gate opens once recognizing the numberplate.
some bedsheets had stains. the staff was rude. the swimming pool was closed in may.

The location was beautiful and relaxing. The house was clean, and the kitchen had sufficient equipment. A bus stop is nearby providing transport to the city center. Nearby, I found an IKEA.
The staff seemed very rude, and some bedsheets had stains. I noticed there was no swimming pool available in May. If a swimming pool is not open, the hotel should not be displayed when I check the box for swimming pools.
