The location by the river provided easy access to the park and paths to the notable bridge. Common indoor and outdoor areas plus the room were super clean. The hotel featured a very nice garden (perfect for a morning stroll). The reception staff were efficient and friendly.
The room was a bit small, but all other aspects of my stay was really nice.

The executive double room included comfortable easy chairs and a decorative tiled fireplace. The bed was spacious, and the bathroom was equipped with Victorian-style fittings that worked perfectly well. The room on the second floor had a marvelous view over the gardens.

The hotel offers plenty of off-road parking and a convenient lift to the upper floor. The breakfast room featured good garden views, a charming detail. A river walk is directly accessible from the garden (i took it every morning!).

the room was a major disappointment. it felt tired and dull, and the floorboards creaked loudly with every step. the bathroom was very basic, with only a shower over the bath and no extractor fan (the mirror remained steamed up for hours).
