Really good Sea View Retreat
clean room sea view buffet breakfast
The room was very clean and included a good sea view. It was also well-equipped with all necessary amenities. Breakfast had plenty of well-cooked food available. There was also lots of choice offered in a buffet style, nice for varied meals.
The building felt somewhat old. A slight face-lift could brighten it up a bit. The hotel was still perfectly functional though.

The hotel is accessible from the bus stop and train station. The beach is also not far away. This makes the hotel's position very convenient and accessible for various activities.

The owner was really attentive. The staff members were very friendly and helpful. I found the service to be very personal and accommodating throughout my stay.

The ground floor public areas are charming. The décor is lovely and quirky. It creates a great space to relax. Ample space in public areas allowed for comfortable relaxation. I enjoyed my stay.

There was plenty of choice at breakfast. Breakfast was wonderful, particularly the live pianist. I also enjoyed the beautiful views of the sea while eating. It was a magical experience!

poor water pressure tiny cubicle
The location was acceptable and provideed easy access to nearby attractions.
The room I booked was small and it was not like the photos advertised. The shower had very poor water pressure and the cubicle felt tiny. I could barely move in it.

polite staff pleasant garden area beach views unchanged cups noisy seagulls limited parking
The staffs were very polite. The garden area faces the beach, and it has plenty seats. I watch the sunrise from the garden, just a 5 minutes walk to the beach for even better views.
The cups in room wasnt changed daily. Seagulls were noisy, running across a flat roof. This is probably unavoidable though. Limited parking was available, I had to park a little far away.

great view free parking friendly staff
the location was wonderful and offered great views. the on-site parking was free which helped a lot. the breakfast had plentiful options and i found the staff very helpful and friendly. the family room i stayed in was on the ground floor, made access easy.
the carpet in the hallways needs updating. it looked a little worn.

the hotel is close to the sea, it took only a few minutes to walk. a nearby lift gives easy access to the beach for just £1. the location made traveling around easy.

The sea view from the room was amazing. The location was convenient with easy access to local attractions. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of options. The EV charger was a very welcome facility!
The small double room was very compact. The shower cubicle was unbelievably tiny. It was hard to move. I felt the room needed redecorating. The balcony decking had green mildew and a broken slat.
