charmed stay indeed!
convenient lift quality food helpful staff steep climb
The hotel features a very convenient lift system. It links the upper and lower levels of the area. It saved me many steep hill climbs. The breakfast selection offered something for everyone. I found good quality food products. The staff were helpful .
The bathroom lacked ventilation. This did result in a slight smell of dampness.

The updated rooms included a spacious bathroom and a rainfall shower, it was a real treat. The cleanliness was great, everything was perfectly maintained. It was super clean. All the amenities were modern and in good working order.

The hotel is just at the edge of the buzziest part of the river. The views are fine from all public areas, this creates a special ambiance. The location has elevator access to both the top of the bridge and the bottom, very convenient.

not impressed by the sound insulation
plumbing issue constant flushing
The hotel is in a very central location. I could easily walk to many attractions.
The noise was a real issue. I was on the 5th floor and the bathroom plumbing was just awful. i could hear water running through the pipes all night. It sounded like someone was constantly flushing toilets in other rooms.

the location was acceptable with river views.
i found the absence of ventilation in the bathroom troubling. there was a noticeable smell of mold and dampness i found unpleasant.

musty smell narrow corridors
I was a bit let down . the bathroom lacked proper ventilation. A musty smell was constant. also, the breakfast selection could be better, and hot items were often lukewarm. it was a shame to find the scrambled eggs not as hot as i would have liked. the corridors were also quite narrow for those with luggage.

climate control separate sinks
The room had comfortable climate control (it was easy to adjust) and kept a steady temperature. I enjoyed the rainfall shower and the two separate sinks in my room.
The minibar prices seemed a bit high.
