paulo and the team took excellent care of us. they offered excellent recommendations for activities and dining. the hotel presented nice amenities. the location allowed us to walk to most sites and attractions in under 15 minutes.
the toilet door does not close fully, just a dreadful design issue. the toilet also did not flush well. the shower tap knob fell off the first time we used it.

the breakfast was plentiful with fabulous views, an acceptable way to start the day.
I was quite disappointed by several aspects . the bar frequently ran out of supplies. One night, they had no beer, no cider, and no mint for mojitos. also, after ordering one glass, they claimed to have no more baileys available, quite frustrating.

the room was spacious with a smart layout. the bed was comfortable. the highlight was the amazing view over the douro river. the staff was helpful and accommodating, from check-in to checkout. they assisted with storing some vintage wines i purchased. the assistance were pretty good.
The bathroom design could be improved. The doors to the shower and bathroom area did not offer privacy i desired.

the gym is well maintained, great for effective workouts. the infinity pool looked inviting, though the water remained cool . the terrace provided a relaxing space to unwind after a busy day.

I really liked the gym. It features three treadmills. it also had two stationary bikes. the breakfast was amazing!!! the omelet station offered many choices. the view from the balcony was also quite nice.
i found the towels to be thin. the common areas felt underwhelming. the room itself was a bit dark and small.

I had a blast at this chic spot! The staff was friendly and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. I found the food delicious and the rooms comfortable. The hotel is really perfect for a city mini-break!
The hotel felt a bit like a maze. Navigating to the SPA required going outside and entering a door code. The pool was very small, and I noticed some mold on the shower ceiling. The cappuccino tasted like it came from an automatic machine .
