Service Issues Impacted the Stay
slow service incorrect order
The setting is amazing. It cannot get much better.
I was disappointed by the slow service at peak times. Getting my order correct at breakfast was particularly frustrating. I rarely got everything I asked for.

my room, the junior suite garden view, featured a spacious layout. the bathroom included two separate sinks. the provided toiletries smelled nicely, though i generally bring my own.
the elevator near my room was occasionally slow during peak hours!

lovely grounds near uct
beautiful grounds modern equipment
i stayed here for three nights, close to the university. the grounds are beautiful, and the gym was a real plus, it had modern equipment and felt spacious. i really appreciated the refreshing welcome drinks. the staff were kind and cute making the experience great!

unattentive staff average food
I was really let down by the patio staff. They were unattentive. the food was average and overpriced without many other options. the place seems to lack attention to detail and i probably won't return anytime soon.

The location is central, with easy access to nearby attractions. The staff were helpful and attentive throughout my stay. The gym includes treadmills and stationary bikes. I found the breakfast buffet had many options and a menu of cooked-to-order dishes.

slow service ineffective air conditioning
the service was quite slow at peak times. breakfast service was especially frustrating because we rarely got our whole order correct. i also noticed the air conditioning was ineffective.

the breakfast buffet included a variety of cereals fruits breads meats and jams i ordered salmon eggs benedict on croissant it was good
i sent two emails before my trip asking if they had distilled water available for my cpap machine i never received a response
