digital key spacious room friendly staff
The check-in was smooth. I appreciated the digital key available through the app. The room was spacious. The view was nice. The staff were friendly. I especially liked the heated towel rack in the bathroom.
The bar prices seemed slightly high, limiting my drink choices.

attentive staff efficient assistance quick concierge
the staff was attentive. the concierge secured a times newspaper from a nearby shop when the pre-ordered one was unavailable. a waitress remembered my breakfast order from the previous day. taxi assistance was readily available and efficient.

the historical building was awesome and gorgeous. i found the location good for restaurants and sightseeing. the staff proved very helpful and personable.
the breakfast experience disappointed me. the hot food items were cold. the tea i asked for was from a flask and stewed.

The hotel included great bed linen that felt luxurious to the touch. I found the location to be very convenient to area restaurants and shops.
The tea I received was not hot at all. I feel that the hotel charge a supplement for the uneatable meal at checkout. A staff member showed me how it was inconveniencing her to make me a fresh cup.

Excellent stay
central location super clean room spa facilities
the staff were cute and helpful. The location is central. I especially liked the super clean room. Breakfast offered many options. It had good food and service. The spa facilities were a plus. The concierge staff demonstrated excellent kindness and care. They really were pretty good.
I was not informed about this prior to my arrival. It was right outside my window and this was inconvenient.

the restaurant offered a tasting menu. Service and food were excellent. The hotel bar had a recently renovated area with cool cocktails. The breakfast buffet featured Scottish breakfast options and assorted breads.

the location is ideal. All main attractions are within walking distance. The hotel is situated near places to visit. Taxis are easily accessible and provide easy transportation around the city. There are restaurants and shops nearby.

dirty carpet thin window
My stay had issues. The carpet in my room was dirty. It gave the whole room an unkempt, worn-out feel. The window was old and thin with NO insulation. It let in every sound. A constant machine noise made it hard to sleep. I found this hotel disappointing.
