The location worked well for visiting barnard castle. bowes museum was nearby. the breakfast was good. I found it difficult to fault. it had plenty of choice and the cooked breakfast arrived hot.

the room felt quite dated. i did feel that the price for the accommodation was slightly too high.

I found access to the toilet a bit difficult because of the narrow bathroom. I think a slight redesign here would improve accessibility
