the room was nice (a standard double room). it was clean. the location was great for my trip to newcastle's arena. the staff were very friendly.
my breakfast wasn't great. the sausage was undercooked, and the bacon wasn't fully cooked either. also, it was very noisy because it was full of screaming kids and barking dogs.

scaled kettleblack mold
The location had fine views, promising. some bar staff seemed a bit hapless. The room cleanliness was definitely lacking, our kettle was scaled inside. Black mold was also present in the shower. It wasn't a great look. I also found long dark hairs in the shower. This didn't add to the experience.

the staff members were very helpful and obliging. the meals were very good, though a little too much food for me. i had a nice stay overall.
my gluten free afternoon tea wasn't very imaginative. it had far too many sandwiches and were not dainty. i also got served salmon fishfingers and chips, and that wasn't afternoon tea.
