Mediocre Stay, Needs Improvement
butter absencebread depletion
The breakfast service suffered from severe deficiencies. Butter was absent initially. Subsequently, bread supplies depleted entirely. I wanted a cooked breakfast. It seemed unattainable given the circumstances. This reflects poorly on the hotel's preparedness.

Wonderful Stay Near the Heart of the City

The hotel was beautiful and centrally located (a real plus for exploring). I found the staff to be some of the most accommodating I have come across in a long time. The room was very comfortable with nice biscuits. A sweet treat after a long journey. I also appreciated the free car park. It made arrival and departure seamless.
The bed was slightly smaller than expected, but it didn't detract too much from the overall quality of the stay.

Breakfast included excellent choices, and the service was very quick (especially when ordering off-menu items). I enjoyed the convenience of having the dining room and bar in the hotel. The breakfast was great (especially the pancakes!).

The size of the room was perfect. There was plenty of space to store luggage, a good shower and a large comfortable bed. The room was clean and had everything I needed for my stay. The bed was very comfortable.

The location is great, and it's a short walk to the train station and the town centre, but also quiet and secluded. The hotel has a nice setting on a quiet road. Many bars and places to eat are around.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in was smooth and efficient. Staff helped with carrying bags upstairs and getting on wifi. I appreciated the smooth check-in process, a welcome beginning to my stay.
