Val, the owner, was lovely. It was so nice to see her again. our room had a perfect river view, and the bed was very comfy. the walk in shower was great! the food was delicious, and the chef even checked if guests were happy. That was very thoughtful.
The main building required me to go outside in the rain to reach my room. This was a little inconvenient. the owner's dog was around while people were eating, and i found it a bit distracting.

I found the parking easy, located just off the main road. The large bedroom included a comfortable bed with soft pillows. I appreciated the beautiful furnishings and views overlooking the garden and river.
I noticed a need for some minor updates, as a few areas looked a little worn.
