the staff was helpful and kind . i received complimentary water bottles and coffee and tea, resupplied each day, it was appreciated. i enjoyed the ability to explore the college grounds and chapel freely as a guest..
the wifi signal was good, but i needed to log in again frequently.

the room was clean.
the heating system made a terrifying, loud buzzing sound at 6am. this was like a fire alarm going off in my room! fiddling with the thermostat only stopped it temporarily. plus, there's no parking available.

A room with a great view looked down into the beautiful courtyard. It also looked over the roofs to the treetops of the college gardens! The walk through those gardens to the dining hall became a cherished ritual. A superb art exhibition, Paolozzi prints from the college collection, stood proudly in the room behind reception.
The floor echoed with noise. Everything happening outside in the hallway permeated the room, despite the closed door. The bed was uncomfortable. The pillows caused neck pain, I woke up with a headache each morning.
