The room was very quiet, offering a peaceful experience.
I found the service in the restaurant quite slow. It took a VERY long time before anyone came to take our order. After that, getting the waiter's attention for refills or additional requests proved difficult. This diminished what could have been a better dining experience.

mixed feelings at a pricey hotel
beautiful groundmold smellstained tile
the staff greeted me warmly and the grounds was undeniably beautiful, i must say.
The spa was really disappointing. The steam room smelled strongly of mold and some tiles were clearly stained, it really affected the experience. i thought that for the price we paid, the cleaning wouldn't be a concern, but it became one. the whole spa area felt a bit neglected.

I appreciated the grounds. The grounds were beautiful. I enjoyed bikes provided to explore nearby areas. It was a good way to see the surroundings.
I found dinner at Grey's restaurant disappointing. The food tasted like pre-packaged microwave meals. The breakfast was basic too. It was underwhelming.

The grounds at this hotel are beautiful.
The service in Grey's was inconsistent. On one visit, it was difficult to get anyone to refill water or clear plates. A 10% service charge was added to the entire bill, even the accommodation cost. I was surprised by the extra charge for crisps after paying £20 for cocktails.
