lovely hotel with great service
massive room clean room great food
The room was massive and super clean. i loved the location. It allowed for easy access to many places. the cafe had great food.
staff very cute. really good spa experience. the room was spacious and beautifully presented and well equipped. disappointed in staffs lack of concern about substantial water leak across sitting room floor. found a towel against skirting board behind sofa so deduced it was an ongoing issue. just grateful we had not left anything on the floor.

the architecture is french colonial and beautiful.
i found a towel against the skirting board behind the sofa , so i deduced it was an ongoing issue. the staff showed a lack of concern about a substantial water leak across the sitting room floor. i am grateful we had not left anything on the floor.

poor water pressure rainfall shower
the staff was helpful enough, i guess.
The room was a bit of a letdown. The advertised rainfall shower was more of a drizzle. it barely trickled water, it was almost laughable.. i expected better water pressure.

Really good Stay at a Former Embassy
excellent building helpful staff
I stayed here for several nights. The building is excellent (it used to be an embassy). My room was spacious. The staff were helpful. They even arranged a taxi for my trips. I enjoyed the limited spa facilities. I found the adjacent French cafe convenient, especially the fresh bread.
The hotel is ideally located, but it took some time for my food to arrive at mealtimes.

The hotel is in a quieter area away from the heavy traffic. Major attractions and restaurants are easily accessible by tuk-tuk, so I could easily explore the city. It provided a peaceful retreat after busy days.

My room featured comfortable beds and ample space. The room was very clean and well kept. I had a relaxing and restful experience in the room.

The staff were courteous and helpful. They quickly addressed my requests. Breakfast offered varied menus from which to order, thus I found it very convenient and well-organized.

high ceilings storage closets diverse breakfast
the room was spacious with high ceilings giving it extra elegance.. i found many storage closets useful. the balcony overlooked the pool, and there was a table with chairs. the breakfast choices offered good diversity.

I found a towel against the skirting board behind the sofa. It seemed like an ongoing problem and the staff didn't seem too concerned about the water leak across the sitting room floor. I was grateful i hadn't left anything on the floor.
