vegetable smell faulty shower
the location was lovely , right on the water.
The room smelled strongly of steamed vegetables , it was very unpleasant. the shower temperature was difficult to regulate . It swung between cold and scalding with minimal adjustment. i also found that the bathroom bin had not been emptied prior to my arrival

The lady on reception was amazing. She took us to the restaurant and detailed breakfast and evening meal times. She escorted us to our room and engaged in conversation. The entire team worked to a high standard throughout my stay.
The drinks at the bar were a little expensive.

The staff were polite and efficient. A waiter at breakfast was accommodating and friendly. The reception and night porter were happy to help and provided an extra sense of security by locking the doors at night.

This waterside location provides beautiful views. I found the hotel in an ideal spot near the broads. It was easy to watch boats from the deck. The location offers both summer and winter appeal.

the room featured a super comfy bed. i found the staff to be friendly and helpful . the location allows for great access (right on the river!). breakfast included a good choice from a buffet and a hot selection.
i thought the drinks were a bit expensive, (i only had two). this.

high cost indifferent staff
the bed linen was of top quality.
I found the drinks overpriced. I'm not sure what justifies the high cost. on another occasion, a staff member placed a reserved sign on my table without even a word. it felt quite rude and unwelcoming, and the staff seemed indifferent to my presence, which i didn't appreciate, especially considering the prices they charge.

a satisfactory riverside stay
breakfast selection pleasant staff clean room no air conditioning high wall steep staircase
the breakfast had a excellent selection and i found the staff pleasant. they seemed ready to help, which i liked. my room felt clean and new. i liked the atmosphere with candles around the hotel.
My room was very hot during the day and evening. There was no air conditioning in the bedroom. the balcony had a high wall at the front. i could not see over it when i was sat down. the staircase to the bedrooms seemed dangerous. its very steep, with small narrow steps.

amazing selection comfy room helpful staff
the hotel had an amazing selection for breakfast and a large variety. i loved my room, it was very clean and comfy. all of the staff there were very good too help in every aspect of my stay.
my single room was small. i think it needs to be more spacious for comfort.
