Really good Stay in Covent Garden

The location is superb. The hotel sits near Covent Garden and the Waterloo Bridge (I especially enjoyed the proximity to the theater district). My room, a Superior King Room, was spacious. The complimentary mini bar with wine was a generous touch (such a treat after a day out). The hotel provided excellent service, especially at breakfast, served to the table with a very good menu.

The subterranean swimming pool had a grotto vibe. That was acceptable.
It seemed like they just wanted to avoid paying commission. also, the breakfast was a letdown. One day, my waffle seemed undercooked. another morning, my boyfriend's croissant tasted frozen.

The room was quiet enough, especially considering how central it is.
The service was rather lacking. I asked for a specific type of pillow and they said they didn't have any available. I find it strange for a supposedly fancy hotel.
