lovely gardens and a nice stay

The building and grounds were really good. i walked all of the grounds. It was amazing. i took in the unique gardens and tree lined trails. the bar served great food, and i found it cosy.
our room was pretty small for the price we paid. the bed was a small double, and i found it uncomfortable. there was a small fridge on the floor, inconvenient.

the hotel sits on a hill. the gardens were lovely and well kept, with daffodils and other spring flowers in full bloom. there is a long driveway, leading up to the hotel parking.

The staff was very attentive, and the front desk staff were cute. breakfast was a great choice. i found the staff friendly and polite. The housekeeping staff kept the room clean. overall, the service was efficient.

i stayed in a family room , and it was quite spacious. the hotel grounds feature loads of outdoor space. breakfast has nice views overlooking the valley , a bright area of the hotel.
the building shows its age slightly , but it adds to the charm.

The hotel grounds are fine. I couldn't fault the location for a family wedding. the staff were always smiling and polite and friendly. especially the two gentlemen working the bar at the night part of the wedding. the hotel was super clean. It was very clean.
we upgraded to a suite, unfortunately the rooms were not very comfortable. the sofa and chairs were quite low, i found it uncomfortable on backs, knees, and hips. the check-in clerk walked us to our room, but they offered no bell service.
