Wonderful Hotel Stay
warm welcome perfect eggs
I appreciated the warm welcome I received from the concierge. The concierge showed me around and escorted me to my woodland lodge. Dinner in the restaurant impressed me. The eggs benedict at breakfast tasted perfect.

Underwhelming Stay
peeling vinyl cheap shower
The Sandemans restaurant offered an excellent experience. The setting, staff, and food were all acceptable.
The room was a letdown. The shower cabinet felt cheap, constructed from flimsy plastic, and the shower itself was very basic. The vinyl on the bed was peeling. That's unacceptable.

friendly staff great pool comfy bed outdoor hot tub quiet fan continental breakfast
the staff were friendly! the health club had a great pool and a choice of jacuzzi. my wife had some treatments and said they were amazing. our bed was so comfy too
The indoor hot tub on the second floor wasn't open. The outdoor hot tub was dirty and cold. surely for the price they can invest in some decent quiet fans. the continental breakfast is more buffet style now. It was presented nicely before. everything just seems a little bit worse than our previous visits

attentive staff varied choices spa facilities relaxed atmosphere
The staff was attentive and quick to assist. I felt very looked after. breakfast was a good experience, with a wide variety of choices. i found the on-site spa facilities particularly excellent, with both indoor and outdoor options, offering a great opportunity to unwind. the cocktail lounge provided a relaxed atmosphere with well-crafted drinks.
the shower temperature fluctuated a little bit during my morning shower, but it was a minor issue overall.

the hotel sits adjacent to a scenic loch. walking trails are accessible directly from the grounds, great for easy exploration of the surrounding nature. nearby, there is a dam offering interesting viewpoints and photo opportunities.

The room was amazing. It included a well-stocked minibar with various snacks and drinks. The bathroom had underfloor heating and provided a very comfortable experience. The views from the bedroom window across the grounds were quite picturesque.
The gym was quite small. It could use more equipment, though it served the basic needs.
