Really good Anniversary Getaway!
warm staff marine decor great tea
This place really wraps you up in comfort. The service is excellent, warm, and very cute. The marine decor and cosy lighting in the rooms are good. Curling up with a good book was pure bliss. I found a great selection of tea, coffee, and biscuits.
The website mentions possible noise, yet the Mountbatten room's proximity to the kitchen was noticeable. I heard kitchen activity from breakfast through the restaurant's closing. Bathroom sounds echoed from the kitchen, a bit disconcerting given the room rate.

the room included a plentiful supply of tea, coffee, water and cookies. the bathroom provided ample products (i even found nice soaps there!).
the website mentions potential noise from adjoining rooms, but the kitchen noise was quite noticeable (it operated from breakfast until the restaurant closed).

fresh fruit friendly staff
The breakfast was amazing. Fresh fruits made it special, but the hot chocolate and brownie are highly recommended. staff members were very attentive. polite and friendly. i found the service to be excellent.
the room had a slightly dark feel, likely due to its location with the hotel kitchen located right opposite.
