wonderful seaside stay

helpful staffhigh-quality serviceperfect locationuncomfortable bed
I found the staff to be plentiful and helpful . They seemed to have routines in place that really maximise customer care. The hotel supports the YMCA with apprenticeships. It is great to see community support in action. The location was perfect, very close to the railway station.
The bed in my room was not great. It reminded me of I was sleeping in jelly. the curtains did not close properly, and a lot OF light pollution came through at night. The maintenance work is definitely needed.
Dining
9/10
Breakfast was delicious and included options such as eggs benedict. The eggs benedict was particularly tasty and seemed freshly prepared. I also noticed that the hotel catered to specific dietary requirements, very helpful.

fantastic rooms at the beachfront!

lovely toiletriesdelicious breakfastrecycling facilities
I really enjoyed the rooms and service, the staff were amazing! they greeted my dogs by name every time. our room overlooked the beach, its facilities included a cafetiere with ground coffee, recycling, and lovely toiletries. breakfast was delicious. They even gave my dogs their own breakfast sausage!
The bar closed relatively early on some nights. It made planning evenings slightly difficult.
Facilities

the hotel offered convenient access to both the beach and the train station, this proximity was appreciated and added to the overall convenience, especially for exploring the surrounding areas. there is also a functional beach toy "library" near the back entrance.

Our luxury double room was super clean and came equipped with excellent tea and coffee. the bathroom even included a charming, small milk bottle for tea.
