the reception staff offered a lovely WELCOME, and i found free parking very useful. the included breakfast provided plenty of choice, a real treat to start the day. i found the shower GREAT, and the bed provided restful sleep.
I noticed the sports facilities were closed during a part of my stay.

The location near the river IS nice. I found the staff helpful, they rectified any errors quickly. My room seemed functional for what i wanted and was clean.
room 23 WAS noisy. it rained all night and it sounded like an ambient water feature. there was a beep alarm which could be heard throughout the night. i struggled to sleep as a sensitive sleeper.
