charming surprise!
welcome whisky great breakfast friendly staff
I loved the complimentary whisky on arrival, such a great touch. the breakfast was amazing with a lovely choice! the staff were friendly and cute. I will definitely be back.
The water pressure in the shower was not great. It reminded me of community pools.

cracking paintwork damp smell
My room needed some care. The paint had cracks and looked bad. I also noticed a strange, damp smell coming from the bathroom. It spread into the room. I think the hotel needs to maintain its rooms better. The noise early in the morning was annoying. I wasn't expecting that.

a bit let down by my room
scuff marks poor water pressure
I was expecting more from my room. the walls needed painting, there were lots of scuff marks. i couldn't find any brochures. I found them behind the desk covered in dust. also, the water pressure in the shower was not good at all.
