Wonderful Riverside Retreat
spacious room river view helpful staff
My Luxury Double Room River View was spacious. It included two separate sinks and a rainfall shower. I liked the excellent view of the river activities (I could watch the boats go by). The hotel position near the river was a great feature. Breakfast was plentiful. I especially appreciated the home-made muesli (I have gluten intolerance) as it saved me bringing my own cereal. The restaurant service was faultless. the food and wine were lovely. The restaurant itself is well appointed. The staff were helpful. Check-in was very pleasant. There was genuine interest in how my stay went (which was a nice touch). Lauren, Jane and Sam were very hospitable.
The housekeeping could improve. I noticed several trolleys and linens in the corridor (it looked a little untidy). I would expect higher standards for the price of the room.

The staff responded promptly to requests, they were knowledgeable about local attractions. They were also very courteous. The service was efficient, this ensured a smooth and pleasant experience for all guests.

Excellent Hotel on the Riverfront

The room had floor-to-ceiling windows. I could see boats of all sizes move constantly on the river. A parking space was reserved for me (I felt welcomed upon arrival). The breakfast was fresh and hot. I didn't feel rushed. The bar staff were attentive.
Housekeeping left trolleys and linens in the corridor (it felt untidy).

The reception staff was very polite and cute when I arrived at the hotel. I appreciated the helpful service in the bar, where the staff were happy to assist with any requests, and even remembered my favourite drink. The staff overall did their best.

The hotel is situated right on the river (a prime spot for watching the boats). The area provides a great view and a lovely vista, with easy access to river activities and nearby attractions, such as shops and restaurants. I enjoyed the central location.

helpful staff riverside location modern amenities wide selection
i found the staff helpful. they provided quick assistance with all requests. the hotel features a superb location directly on the river. the room i stayed in had modern amenities and was a generous size. the breakfast each morning had a wide selection and fresh ingredients.
the wi-fi signal was a bit weak in certain areas of the room though it was only a minor inconvenience.

riverside views spacious suite reserved parking
the staff provided reserved parking upon arrival. i found a spacious two-bedroom suite awaiting me, complete with two bathrooms and a combined kitchen and lounge area. riverside views from both the master bedroom and the lounge elevated the stay. large towels and robes were provided ensuring additional comfort.
the rendering on the exterior walls was to need some attention.

poor organization inadequate communication
the room was lovely i found the location to be excellent.
the event felt poorly organized and distinctly amateur it was more like a rushed wedding function than a premium or special occasion. there was no guidance and no advice regarding parking. the food quality was well below what was charged and the presentation and portion size were equally lacking.
