happy with my stay
good food clean room
the food was typical pub food, it was also good. the staff were kind, it helped. my room was clean, it felt comfortable.
the windows looked over the kitchen wall and roof, it was not nice.

ample parking exists at the rear of the hotel, this is helpful in a town. the bar has good draft beer, i liked that. the hotel feels like a real Inn, i enjoyed it a lot.

great breakfast delicious food helpful staff excellent location noisy floorboards loud creaking broken valve uncomfortable temperature
The breakfast options included many choices and the food tasted delicious. The staff members were friendly and helpful . The location is great with closeness to many shops and restaurants.
The floors creaked loudly and made it difficult to sleep soundly. The bathroom radiator was constantly on and valves were broken. The windows did not fully open to release heat. It was quite uncomfortable.

Mixed feelings about my stay
dirty shower curtain stained tiles
The location was central , offering easy access to nearby attractions.
The bathroom was NOT clean. There were stains on the tiles and some mould present. The shower curtain was also quite dirty , which I found unacceptable.

poor decorative order missing tiles
breakfast was good and offered plenty of choice.
The decorative order was poor, and i noticed tired furnishings, also areas needed redecoration. Tiles were missing from the front of the bath. it looked a right mess. this needs addressing sooner rather than later.

varied options handy location ample space
Breakfast include many options. The place location on the High Street is very handy. I used their car park and found ample space. I found parking convenient.
Our room had some dust on the headboard. The television was small. The sound quality was poor and the subtitles did not work.

i found the location very central for accessing shops and restaurants. the staff was helpful and very friendly. free parking was available, a definite plus. the room was adequate, and i enjoyed my stay.
my room windows looked onto a kitchen wall, an unpleasant view. the windows were also in poor condition, appearing rotten. the ac unit made noise all day and night, which i found disruptive.
