the location was really ideal. it was close enough but not exactly on the doorstep. we were joined for supper in the restaurant by colleagues and staff looked after us well. we all had a comfortable night and a hearty breakfast set us up for the day.
the room was described as small. it did not have facilities for using a laptop, there was no room for a desk. when i paid the food bill they had added a discretionary service charge of 12.5%. i did not recall seeing that.

I found the location easy to reach and it had a large car park . The room i booked (home guard) included a really comfy bed. In the evening, i enjoyed a delicious meal and the service was excellent. i also noticed the staff was very friendly plus the room and en-suite size were very good.
My room was a tad hot. Thank goodness for the fan.

The staff was friendly. They seemed to anticipate needs well plus they promptly addressed all requests and inquiries. The team's dedication to guest satisfaction was clear. i had a really nice chat with the housekeeper .

my room was super comfortable it had everything i needed. i also enjoyed the ease of parking it was easy.
my room was a bit too hot perhaps they could improve that with better ventilation.

the location felt remote. it was a short trip to highgrove gardens, a place i wanted to visit. the restaurant had a menu that was amazing. the staff were attentive, great after a long day.
the room was hot on arrival, and the provided fan didn't help much. i would have liked better cooling. it affected my sleep that first night.
