wonderful stay at this historical gem!

lovely spacomfortable bedroomfresh breakfastfriendly staff

the spa experience i booked was very nice everything was top tier! the spa facilities were lovely and the treatments were fantastic. my bedroom was comfortable and breakfast was amazing especially the cinnamon poached pears and spice infused fruit i loved that everything was freshly made. the staff were friendly and helpful i received a free upgrade as it was a special occasion which was unexpected but much appreciated it made my day!

the tv in my room did not work properly i found it a bit annoying but the overall experience was still really good.

the room was not as expected for the price. the tv did not function and i encountered issues when attempting to charge my phone. the bath plug had a problem also i considered the value for money not great even with a deduction.

i celebrated my anniversary there and it felt magical, every staff member was super nice and helpful. i got upgraded to room 5, a two-room suite, i really felt at home. the topnotch facilities added extra joy to my stay. thank you all for an amazing stay!

upon arrival, i faced a narrow staircase leading to a room facing a roundabout and road. the decor felt dreary. though a spacious alternative room was great, the central heating was not working properly.

The staff were so attentive. my luggage was handled perfectly both at check-in and check-out. i particularly enjoyed relaxing in the garden with evening cocktails. It felt peaceful. the breakfast offered a wide selection, with pastries that tasted fresh.

The gym opened later than i prefer. This made it difficult to fit in my morning workout.
