i got in after dark, i checked myself in. the unit was modern. the wifi worked well.

The unit was bigger than expected. It had separate rooms for the bed and kitchenette. i loved that the motel welcomed my dog, and the reserve area right next door made dog walks easy.

The curtains at the entrance had dirty marks. The surrounding area could use cleanup of rubble at the back. building materials were just dumped there, which wasn't very inviting.

The location was great. It had a clear view to the water.

I did not like that there wasn't a shelf in the bathroom to put my things. I had to put my towel on the toilet lid because there were not hooks. This seemed like such an oversight and made the bathroom very inconvenient.

the unit was very clean and modern with plenty of room. i liked having a couch to relax on after a long day. the wifi worked well, which allowed me to plan my activities for the following day, and i could check in after dark.

i found parking very tight, difficult to maneuver my vehicle at times. i also noticed the shower water was temperamental. it felt more like a backpackers at motel prices, a bit of a surprise.

the staff was caring and offered to leave a light on in the unit, because i was arriving late. check-in was efficient, and the overall service met my expectations .

the unit included air conditioning, which maintained a comfortable temperature. beds were very comfy, and the unit contained everything needed. i found the size of the apartment reasonable.

The location is right by the water and offers a pleasant experience. it provides easy access to the hauraki rail trail. i enjoyed magnificent sunsets. It added to the location's appeal.
