large room big bathroom attentive staff poor air cold room system problem
the room was large, it had a big bathroom. i liked the walk in shower, it was excellent. staff was attentive, and the location was great.
the air con in my room didn't work when i arrived. i was moved to another room but the air con there was poor. the room stayed very cold so i got into bed for heat.

helpful staff full breakfast convenient location
the staff were always available and helpful. the food met my expectations (especially the full breakfast!). i found the location quite convenient for exploring the surrounding area.

pub noise soundproof rooms
the room was clean. and the shower worked well. it was adequate for a short stay.
the noise from the pub downstairs was a real problem. music blared until midnight on both monday and tuesday. i thought the rooms were soundproof but i was wrong. sound carried from both downstairs and upstairs and that was not ideal.

Excellent Food and Service
delicious meal excellent value disabled room
The evening meal I had was delicious (I ordered chicken and chorizo). I booked the last room available, and it happened to be a disabled room. It offered excellent value. I would book this accommodation again in the future.

Wonderful Stay
friendly staff secure sheds great location
The staff was friendly, and I appreciate their attentiveness. The location of the hotel was very good. I especially liked the secure bike sheds provided for storing pedal bikes. This was a great feature. I am grateful nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
I think the menu could be better as there was not a great variety of dishes to choose from. When I went into my room, the air conditioning was not working properly. I was moved to another room, but the air con was very poor.

large room thick towels
The room was large with plenty of seating. I found the bathroom fabulous, it looked very new with lovely soft, thick towels. dinner included haddock and chips, which i thought delicious.
I had to wait a long time to check in as the reception was busy. There was no one else available.
