The room overlooked the beach from the high tide mark. I found plenty of outdoor seating. SUCH a bonus because the weather was lovely. The staff was really friendly! I had lots of choice for breakfast. A GREAT start to the day.
The parking was sometimes a little tight, though i always found a spot.

The evening dining menu changed regularly with an excellent selection of well cheffed food. The scallops were particularly nice and the fish pie was delicious! I found the dining staff attentive and responsive to requests.

The breakfasts included a large, full Scottish breakfast option which was very satisfying. My stay lasted three nights. The room overlooked the sea. I loved hearing the waves. The staff were friendly, and they quickly addressed all my needs.
I noticed some minor scuff marks on the paint in the room.

moldy shower damaged paintwork
the staff were consistently polite and helpful .
The bathroom required attention. Mold was visible in the shower, and the paintwork was damaged. the shower also overflowed due to a bathmat blocking the drain.. these issues detract from an otherwise satisfactory experience.
