mixed feelings about this stay
shower stains dark room
the description of the king room was not accurate. it did not include a minibar nor a bottle of champagne. the hotel staff provided prosecco as compensation, but it wasn't available when we checked in. the shower had yellow stains, and even with all the lights on, the room was very dark.

The location was excellent. It was a short walk to tower bridge. the room included a robe and slippers, useful after a long day.
the minibar was empty, which i found a bit inconvenient.

historic hotel with a modern twist!
historical features friendly staff perfect location
i loved the retained historical features of the building! the staff was super friendly and helpful. the hotel's location near the tower bridge was perfect for exploring. it.
i noticed some very slight yellow stains in the shower, that was a bit of a bummer.

my room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. the shower was great with amazing toiletries. the hotel provided complimentary bottled water each night i stayed in the superior king room.

the front desk staff were very kind! they were keen to be of service throughout my stay. muna was lovely and suggested tasty menu options, she made my working day comfortable.

the hotel is close to tower bridge with the south bank less than five minutes away. i walked easily to many places for food and drinks. i was in a decent spot for underground access.

a few problems
missing mini-bar warm prosecco
the location felt quiet even though many popular attractions were nearby.
i had some hopes for a smooth stay, but i encountered a couple of snags. my room lacked a mini-bar, despite the room description promising one.. i eventually got a bottle of prosecco to make up for it, but it was not cold when i got it. i have encountered better service.
