My room was a "Standard Double Room", however it was hardly standard. It seems the cleaning service operates on a "request only" basis, a fact I was not told when I checked in. I had to ask for the room to be cleaned. the front desk was frequently unmanned. Finding someone to assist with basic requests proved to be an unnecessary challenge.

The location near rembrandt square made it easy to walk everywhere i wanted to go. I didn't need public transport. the hotel stored my luggage before check-in, very helpful because i arrived on an early flight. the rooms are spacious, which i found convenient. i was able to get free water refills in the lobby. That was very useful and green.

The ensuite bathroom had full height glass windows and doors with clear top and bottom sections. I found this design odd, though it was manageable.

The room was not clean. i saw glass rings on surfaces and mold in grout. the check-in area was chaotic. It had many different counters, and it was not clear where to go.

the staff was very polite, always smiling and helpful (they are amazing!). the hotel was clean. the location had a great view as soon as you step out. i loved how great my room smelled every single day, even though i did not opt for housekeeping for the 3 nights i was there.

The noise coming from outside was a problem. the old window did not close properly, so the sounds were quite audible. i also noticed the creaky floors in the hallway. Whenever someone walked by, i could hear it clearly in my room.

the hotel location is very close to the center of everything, a huge plus. you can easily access canal views right in front of the hotel and find tons of restaurants and bars just behind the hotel. it is so easy to explore the surroundings!

the hotel is very modern and clean. the staff are attentive! they really took care of everything. my room even had some balloons and sweets since it was my birthday, the location proved perfect for exploring.

The self-check-in was a bit cold, to be honest. I prefer a personal touch. i missed that human interaction at the front desk. a real receptionist would improve the experience.
