infrequent cleaning unmanned front desk
My room was a "Standard Double Room", however it was hardly standard. It seems the cleaning service operates on a "request only" basis, a fact I was not told when I checked in. I had to ask for the room to be cleaned. the front desk was frequently unmanned. Finding someone to assist with basic requests proved to be an unnecessary challenge.

easy location early flight spacious rooms free water
The location near rembrandt square made it easy to walk everywhere i wanted to go. I didn't need public transport. the hotel stored my luggage before check-in, very helpful because i arrived on an early flight. the rooms are spacious, which i found convenient. i was able to get free water refills in the lobby. That was very useful and green.
The ensuite bathroom had full height glass windows and doors with clear top and bottom sections. I found this design odd, though it was manageable.

fantastic stay!
polite staff clean hotel great view
the staff was very polite, always smiling and helpful (they are amazing!). the hotel was clean. the location had a great view as soon as you step out. i loved how great my room smelled every single day, even though i did not opt for housekeeping for the 3 nights i was there.
The noise coming from outside was a problem. the old window did not close properly, so the sounds were quite audible. i also noticed the creaky floors in the hallway. Whenever someone walked by, i could hear it clearly in my room.
Location
10/10
the hotel location is very close to the center of everything, a huge plus. you can easily access canal views right in front of the hotel and find tons of restaurants and bars just behind the hotel. it is so easy to explore the surroundings!

charming stay!
modern hotel attentive staff perfect location
the hotel is very modern and clean. the staff are attentive! they really took care of everything. my room even had some balloons and sweets since it was my birthday, the location proved perfect for exploring.
The self-check-in was a bit cold, to be honest. I prefer a personal touch. i missed that human interaction at the front desk. a real receptionist would improve the experience.
Location
9/10
The location is right in rembrandt square. It allows easy walks to many places. a store is inside the hotel, and a cafe offers quick bites, convenient. the central station is just a short walk away.
Service
10/10
The staff was friendly, and breakfast was good. assistance was always available during check-in. Everyone was very courteous. the attentiveness added so much value and made things smoother.
