Underwhelming stay, some issues looked

modern decorbilling issueunwelcoming staff

The gym had steam rooms and modern decor, I guess.

The billing was all messed up, imagine that. I had a card payment, supposedly. There was a mini bar charge "error" I didn't like. Staff was less than cute. I'd prefer to feel welcome and not have to investigate mini bar charges.

The alarm test really caught me off guard. It happened without any notice. i was relaxing when the alarms suddenly blared. it really startled me, and i thought there was a real emergency. there was also this loud engineering work happening. It created so much noise that it made it impossible to relax.

The staff provided warm greetings upon my arrival. A birthday note with Prosecco on ice was a thoughtful touch. The beds were comfortable. The shower facilities worked GREAT.

The breakfast buffet was somewhat limited with no change in the food selection each day.

The front desk staff was efficient. They upgraded me to a premium suite. The suite had an energy that promoted calm. The attention to detail was apparent with style. The room has great lighting and an amazing sound system.

The executive room I booked lacked a table and chair. This made working difficult. I had to downgrade and did not receive a refund for the difference. The breakfast options was very disappointing. Few halal options were available.

the location made exploring easy. the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. i found a good matcha cookie at reception. i also appreciated the delicious coffee offered.

the absence of proper curtains impacted my sleep. an office building nearby remained lit overnight. this created an inconvenience as light entered the room.
