The zen garden was enchanting. I loved the plum and cherry blossoms, a beautiful sight. we walked around the nearby lake. It was really close. the shuttle service was punctual. the breakfast was AMAZING!!! so many delicious options.
the pillows were not good. i woke up with a sore neck. also, there were some questionable stains on the toilet seat.

i stayed in a moderate japanese-style room mt fuji view. yukata were provided in the room. the view of mount fuji from the room was fine and lovely. the hotel also has a free shuttle to the train station, and it made transfers smooth.
the hotel is a bit remote if you do not have your own transport.

the staff were friendly and helpful. the breakfast had a huge variety and the food was delicious. the view from our room was excellent, mt fuji was right in front of us when we opened the curtains.
the carpets were not very clean. the wifi was very hit and miss, with access somewhat intermittent. the gift shop was rather poor.
