beautiful architecture friendly staff tasteless rice dish expensive dinner
the architecture was beautiful and full of history! the staff was friendly, and i loved the mini bar.
i paid for dinner in the japanese restaurant, and it was a letdown. it was very expensive, and i left hungry, though i did fill up on a very tasteless rice dish

brown leather seats broken tiles
the architecture of each building was amazing so it met my expectations.
the lounge areas had brown leather seats that give it a look of a home for the elderly i would expect better. the gardens are not well maintained it's a shame. the swimming pool had broken tiles it doesn't feel clean.

grilled fish onsen facilities
the japanese breakfast was nice (especially the grilled fish!). i also found the onsen facilities modern, with pleasant views of the hills.
The indoor pool felt a little cool for relaxed swimming. It was better suited for exercise.
