great foodlovely atmospherenoisy road
i enjoyed the great food and the lovely atmosphere. the service was very kind, and i recommend this lovely pub and hotel. the seasonal menu was also lovely, i really enjoyed the atmosphere!
i found the road very noisy. i needed windows open for air, and it reminded me of a racing track all night! the staff seemed understaffed!

huge showercomfortable bedgood breakfastfriendly staff
the shower in my room was huge the bed was comfortable breakfast was very good the staff were great and very friendly i found the on-site parking secure and free the evening meal was traditional pub food and suited me well i received a great welcome and felt at ease immediately
the noise from the dual carriageway was noticeable when i sat outside

a mixed bag, i suppose
noisy roadsleeplessness symphony
The room i got was close to a noisy road. It was a constant hum, even at night. what really kept me up was the boiler or some generator. it made such a racket all night, pipes clanging, a proper symphony of sleeplessness. i mentioned it at reception, but it seemed like a known issue, they even rent the room out like that regularly. it is what it is, i guess.
