balanced stay

terrace setting beautiful view attentive staff missing air conditioning limited breakfast dirty chair
Afternoon tea on the terrace was a nice experience. The views were beautiful from there. The staff seemed attentive, even with a wedding taking place. Food arrived quickly and the pizza was good.
The room lacked air conditioning, relying on a fan. I found the breakfast selection limited and not properly refrigerated. The bar area could use more attention, with spills on the front and some dirty chairs.

Wowzers! i totally lucked out with the room i got. It was a superior double room sea view and i tell you what, it was awesome. i could see all the beach from my window. the bed was super comfy too!
okay, so here is what i did not like so much. the lift was always out of action. it was a struggle to get up to my room sometimes. plus, the bar area's seating looked a bit tired, worn. also, i think the receptionist wasn't that cute when i got there, not so greet!

Wonderful Stay with Really good Service

positive tone lovely pool pleasant surprise perfect view
Mollie and her team at reception set a positive tone for our stay. They promptly helped with our bags and made sure no request was too much. We appreciated the clean as new rooms (the bedroom and en-suite). The complimentary gin and tonic was a nice touch. Ice was supplied upon request. The spa has a pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room. We found the breakfast to be excellent. The continental choice was plentiful. The restaurant manager was particularly friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to see her every morning. The hotel's decor is unique. It looks like the interior of a cruise ship. The room furnishings matched this theme. This was a pleasant surprise. The view from the breakfast terrace was amazing. The staff were accommodating particularly at Reception and in Housekeeping. We stayed in the Double Room Sea View. The view from the Juliet balcony was perfect. The furnishings and decor suited our taste. The hotel provided binoculars. We could enjoy viewing the seals from our window.
The sheets were not changed (a detail I usually don't mind too much). The duvet was just straightened over the unmade bed. We did make the bed every night.
