i had a nice quiet room. it opened out onto the gardens. there was a large bathroom with a separate bath and shower. breakfast was lovely.
i found the whole experience a bit underwhelming this time. i waited a good 5/10 minutes to check in. our room was fine, perfectly clean, just a bit dated. there was no apology from any of the three staff at reception on our check out.

The bar service was slow. I waited a long time to order drinks and food. the clubhouse floor seemed dirty, and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned recently. only one person manned the reception, and there was a long queue when i arrived.
