i found the breakfast superb. the location was excellent and allowed easy access to the seafront.

The room i booked was smaller than expected. there was dust on surfaces, a real disappointment. breakfast was just okay. The sausages tasted bland. i found a hair in the bacon, which the owner didn't take responsibility for, it was frustrating.

A Good Stay with Perfect Service

I found the bedroom and bathroom immaculate. Everything needed was provided. The minibar had fresh milk for morning tea (a thoughtful touch!). Breakfasts were faultless. The full English breakfast really set me up for the day. The hostess greeted us cheerfully. She ensured I was comfortable.
It was smaller than anticipated. It lacked a sea view. I only saw an alleyway out the back. The cleanliness of the room was poor, with visible dust on surfaces.

The breakfast included options from full english to vegan offerings. The service included butter and two small jars of marmalade. A lighter breakfast, fruit and perhaps a pastry was another option.

The hotel is close to the beach. There are several good restaurants nearby. A recommended hostelry, the St Leonard Public House is located on London Road for aperitifs.

The room included extras such as a stocked mini fridge. Tea, coffee, and biscuits were available in the room. The bathroom was large and had all possible extras. A dressing gown was available in the room.

The room was nicely decorated. The dining area also benefitted from nice decoration. Breakfast included freshly prepared food, I thought. The host was cute and helpful, even providing local dining recommendations.
I found only one sachet of coffee available in the room.
