fresh milkvalley views
I stayed in a beautiful double room. The room included fresh milk daily and great valley views.
my husband enjoyed the valentine's day lunch (it was really a treat). the food presentation was beautiful and artistic. i was also glad to see some faithful staff members, who are very efficient.
the parking was limited when i arrived. there was no signage to explain where to park and the drive was difficult to navigate.

Excellent Honeymoon Night
fabulous bedmorning groundslimited parking
The bath and shower were magnificent. The bed was fabulous. The food was fine (i particularly enjoyed the breakfast!). We explored the grounds in the morning. They were lovely (even with less than perfect weather).
Parking was limited upon arrival. Signage explaining where to park was missing. The dead end drive was difficult to reverse down.
Dining
9/10
The quality ingredients were beautifully cooked. They were presented with cheerful service that was attentive. The chefs deserve special mention for allowing core ingredients to keep their proper flavour. Imaginative sauces accompanied the vegetables.
Location
10/10
The hotel has great views over the valley. There is plenty to explore within the large grounds. It is not far from a local town. I found it convenient for nearby facilities.
Service
10/10
The staff were friendly, happy, and attentive. They were not intrusive at all. One person doubled as the lounge fire lighter. They maintained high standards of hospitality.
