I found some aspects of my stay underwhelming. The shower in the room needed updating. It was a shower over an old bathtub. the receptionist during checkout spoke very quietly, requiring a printed bill to understand the charges. (A minor detail, but it added to the frustration.)

I found the location very convenient. It was close to several shops and restaurants! the sheets felt so soft. the staff were also quite helpful with directions. there was a taxi stand right outside the hotel, though the rates seemed a bit high..
the in-room coffee was quite expensive.

I found the breakfast buffet amazing with a wide selection of dishes. the staff was very kind, and my room was very clean. the location allows for an easy walk to several underground stations, (it was really convenient). i also really enjoyed the fresh orchids and other touches.
