the staff was friendly, and nothing seemed too much trouble. food came out quickly and tasted good. i also appreciated the selection of drinks, including cocktails.
I was a little disappointed by the dog amenities in the room. there was no water bowl or dog bed provided. I usually find those at dog-friendly hotels. there were some dog biscuits, but that was all. also, the exterior decor appears worn.

I found the room to be large. It also had a lovely, powerful shower. Breakfast was superb. I especially enjoyed the quiet atmosphere.
The bar had already closed earlier than I expected one evening.

Decent Hotel. Some Issues Noted
dirty bathroombright exit light
The bathroom cleanliness was unacceptable. I found excrement on the toilet seat! A bright green exit light shone in the bedroom all night. It kept me awake. The radiator was set to maximum heat during the summer heat, made sleeping quite uncomfortable.
