dated facilities, SOME redeeming qualities
helpful staffdated decoruncomfortable sofa
The staff were helpful. That much is true.
My cottage was like a time capsule from decades ago. The decor was tired. the sofa was VERY uncomfortable. the kitchen lacked proper equipment. I found only one frying pan and a couple of small pans.

The cottage was spacious. The new kitchen was clean and well-equipped. The woodland walks were a quick walk. The location was fantastic.

fantastic stay!
huge bathhelpful staffearly closure
The bath was huge, a definite plus. charli at breakfast stood out. She was always smiley and very helpful! the swimming pool and hot tub were well maintained, clean and very quiet. i found this.
The bar closed before 10 pm, which i found disappointing. i came back from town just before 10 pm and the bar was closed. This meant there was nothing to do. i would have enjoyed relaxing in their lovely lounge with a few drinks.

the reception staff were friendly and helpful upon arrival. maintenance responded quickly to a minor issue i reported. the team worked to ensure a smooth visit.

the swimming pool was a highlight, as was the sauna. the hotel also provided ample parking . the hotel has free pool table. there is also a restaurant that serves great food.
