great location friendly staff filthy carpet dark room
The location is great. It made exploring so easy!!! the staff were friendly and helpful. they were very good too help with anything i needed. i appreciated the warm hospitality from the guest service ladies.
The old building seemed dingy to me. the carpets were filthy and fraying. It looked dark. there was no gym in the old building so i had to walk a long way to the new building to exercise.

island view perfect suite helpful staff
my room had great views of the island with the nobles' tombs. the suite was perfect. i highly recommend a stay here. i liked the chocolate bar too. the staff is helpful and very nice.
the boat transfer runs all day, but sometimes i had to wait a bit.

underwhelming stay despite location
electricity outages water supply
the electricity outages were unacceptable . i experienced these outages in the middle of the night, very disruptive. also, the water supply was completely cut off in my room, once in the morning and again in the afternoon. (not ideal at all)

constant noise sleepless nights
the staff were nice. our first two nights? sleepless. i got a suite in the old building, river noise plus building noise made me ask for a move. they gave me a smaller room but it was even noisier with music until 2 am. i was seriously bummed out by the constant noise, late night music.

This spot is super clean. the front desk staff are cute and helpful, they have amazing service skills. the steamboat service is prompt. It made getting around so easy. the views around the island are amazing!
the tower's design is a bit dated, maybe it is time for a refresh.

The room includes two separate sinks and a rainfall shower. I loved the setup. the room was always clean and orderly. i appreciated the lovely views of the river from my room.

the resort is situated on an island, it requires a boat transfer for access. however, the hotel provides a complimentary boat service running around the clock. it is convenient and ensures smooth transit at any hour.

the hotel boasts a gym with three treadmills and two stationary bikes. the pool area has approximately twenty loungers. a shaded area for relaxation. i loved the pool!!!
