The location suited my needs perfectly. (I needed to be close to that one specific place.)
I found some aspects less than stellar. The room lacked a proper duvet cover. I asked twice, but nothing happened. the bathroom seemed quite dated with some unpleasant mold issues.

The beds were indeed comfortable, so I slept well. It was a welcome surprise.
The staff were not very accommodating. It was flexibility is not in their vocabulary. I got the wrong key, and it opened another guest's room. The rooms smelled like smoke and pipes. So the terrace was unusable, and the experience was rather poor.

i found the staff really nice and helpful. i booked a room with a terrace.. it was a dream. the terrace was massive, the room was big and the bed was very comfortable. complimentary water was provided daily and the room was very clean.
i noticed the pool and sun loungers were sometimes closed. this happened even when the weather was warm.
