friendly stafftinned fruitrubbery eggs
The staff welcomed me and were very friendly , which I appreciated.
The breakfast was disappointing. Coffee came out of a flask, like at a conference. The fruit offering included tinned prunes and tinned fruit salad. The pastries were dry, and the fried eggs were rubbery.

The staff were very efficient and always greeted us with a smile.
The bedroom view were very uninspiring even I'd asked for a nice view. The room feel tired. The bathroom was in need of an update, the bath chipped, the shower door basic. I couldn't figure out how to switch the heating off at night.

Comfortable Stay

parking passhelpful stafflaundry servicefaux leather headboard
The staff offered a parking pass to use . Two young ladies at check-in were very helpful and pleasant. The hotel provides laundry service, useful.
The hotel does need updates for the new century. The room had much brown and a faux leather headboard. I found many brown tiles in the bathroom.
Service

The staff went out of their way at every opportunity to be of service. Everything was catered for, including even two dogs. Most importantly, staff smile and they genuinely care.

Adequate Stay

good bus serviceopen fireelectrical outletclothes rail
The hotel had a good bus service into the town. Breakfast included cooked to order options on some days. It was great those days. A LOVELY open fire was present.
The room lacked sufficient electrical outlets for charging devices. The open clothes rail was not high enough. It was difficult hanging longer dresses. This proved inconvenient when preparing for events.

Lovely Stay Close to the Beach

sandy beachesexcellent foodtepid coffee
The hotel's location was superb as it was just a short walk to two fine sandy beaches. The views were gorgeous. I found the food to be excellent and savored mainly the fish dishes. The staff members were friendly, polite, cheerful, and very helpful and really gave their best.
The hotel serves coffee that needs to be hotter. The service should pay attention to this detail to improve the overall experience.
Facilities
9/10
The hotel includes a large outdoor pool and sitting area. The pool is also heated, which benefits children. Inflatables and pool toys that guests left behind are kept in the changing rooms for others to use. It is a nice touch.
Location
10/10
The hotel location is fantastic. It is right on the beach with picnic benches outside to allow enjoyment of the views. A bus stop is very close to the hotel, and there is also convenient access to EV charging on site.
