My room was lovely, warm, and clean. Everything worked as it should. I visited during the winter season and the log fire was a lovely touch. The hotel and grounds are beautiful.
Breakfast had meat products served next to vegetables, using the same serving spoon.

i visited grounds steeped in history. the prototype bouncing bomb was interesting. i appreciated the memorabilia dedicated to the dambuster's squadron. the officers mess bar provided a unique atmosphere.
the hotel showed some signs of age, a slight distraction from the overall experience.

I appreciated the historical items dedicated to the 617 Squadron. The displays really bring the story alive. The gardens are manicured very well. I enjoyed a stroll around the grounds. The breakfast was tasty. The polite staff served it at the table.
