Historic Stay with Great Views
reliable shuttle service easy beach access beautiful beach good coffee
I found the location offered beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. The shuttle service was very reliable and convenient, especially for reaching my room. I enjoyed easy access to the beach, a few hundred meters away, and it was quite beautiful. The cafe near the beach had good coffee and quick snacks.
The room lacked air conditioning, so it felt stuffy. Opening the doors wasn't ideal because of the absence of screens.

farmhouse breakfast friendly staff
The staff was friendly. Management accommodated a move to a different room. the breakfast included was a lovely farmhouse breakfast. the food was fresh! the location was beautiful, though.
the room looked over bushland rather than the ocean.

slow shuttle service sparsely furnished room
The included breakfast was acceptable.
I found the shuttle service to be quite slow. I waited almost half an hour on one occasion and it was very frustrating. I almost missed my tour. The room itself felt quite basic and sparsely furnished.

lovely location helpful staff prompt shuttle
The location was lovely. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The shuttle service was prompt. I never waited long. Breakfast was particularly good (especially the fresh fruit!).
Sound insulation between rooms seemed limited. I could clearly hear neighbors in the hallway.

historical stay was amazing
friendly staff onsite restaurant
i really liked this hotel. i found the staff to be friendly and always ready to help. the free shuttle service worked very well to get to different parts of the hotel. i enjoyed the onsite restaurant and cafe and the food available there.

the onsite restaurant offered a variety of dishes and everything tasted great. the breakfast buffet featured fresh ingredients and several hot options. i found the cafe a good spot for a quick snack and coffee.

the room had a comfortable bed and it provided all essential amenities. i found it was very clean and well maintained. the view from my window was pretty nice and faced the harbour, a GREAT addition to the place.
