The room was amazing. it was spacious with a comfy bed and wonderful shower. breakfast was fantastic and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The rose & crown is in a great location in the village with many restaurants and cafes.
i disliked the lack of any basic customer engagement. i was not. there was zero customer interaction.

The staff offered warm welcomes and continued friendliness. they provided air conditioning and also tea and coffee. a basket of snack goodies was available to buy. This was a nice touch.

My double room was super clean, brimming with character. i found a nespresso machine with a good selection of pods. Plus, a wide range of black and herbal teas, homemade biscuits and fruit daily were also included.

Free parking for hotel residents was a great bonus. buses are regular. Should you need to travel around. the pub was cute with very nice real ale. This was a bonus, and the food looked good. too.

the room was spacious. it included a coffee machine, a nice touch. the bathroom was modern and clean (a big plus for me). the building not sketchy at all.
dinner service was slow. after waiting a while, my fish and chips arrived cold. they were also dried out (i expected better). i found this quite disappointing.

The staff was friendly! the breakfast selection included many options. i found a little blue guidebook in my room. It had explanations of all the facilities. the location was really good. It included parking.
