outdated features black mould
The location was acceptable overlooking the estuary I suppose.
The room I got was small with outdated features I felt let down. The phone didn't work so I could not call reception. There was also black mould in the bathroom corners a real eyesore

Excellent Stay with Fine Views
really good assistance estuary view helpful car service
The receptionist, Helen, offered really good assistance. I received an upgrade to a room with an estuary view. A local gin and tonic was delivered to my room as a treat at 5 p.m. The car service was very helpful and my luggage was taken to my room directly.
I found the hotel is slightly dated in some areas considering its rating.

The room was very clean and modern. I appreciated the super comfortable bed. The room's balcony was a definite highlight, providing an excellent space for relaxation and enjoying the view.

The hotel location offers beautiful views overlooking the estuary. It's conveniently situated near the shops and restaurants. The hotel is positioned at one end of the area, nice for easy access to local amenities and attractions.

The restaurant and bar facilities provided a very good experience. The spa offered a relaxing treatment and an enjoyable atmosphere. I was pleased with the breakfast and dinner I ate at the hotel's restaurant.

Wonderful estuary views
private car park attentive attendant relaxing swimming pool
I found the staff very helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a great location, near the river (it is gorgeous). I also liked that the hotel had a well-managed private car park with an attendant to help move cars. The swimming pool was very relaxing and well laid out with semi-private curtained booths.
I noticed the hotel is quite expensive. The customer care did not reflect the high price.

Staff at the restaurant are very attentive. They provided service to us and our dog (very cheerful). The staff really try to pay attention to detail and are always ready to offer support.

The food in the restaurant was excellent. The Sunday roast beef was lovely. The sea bream was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the fish and chips (perfectly cooked!).

street noise needed maintenance
the room was next to the street so there was noise at night. people chatted, cars drove by, and bins were collected early in the morning. a few features needed maintenance.. there was a strong smell of bad water waste when we arrived. bad water waste

Fantastic Hotel Experience
free upgrade perfect location helpful staff complimentary gin
I received a complimentary room upgrade which was a pleasant surprise. The location was perfect with views. The staff was helpful especially the car park manager. He expertly parked my car because it is a tight car park on a hill. The complimentary gin in my room was a nice touch.
The hotel looked a little worn with some rust on the outdoor tables on the decking

The staff was polite and helpful throughout my stay. The car park manager offered assistance. This service made parking easier. I found the staff consistently polite. I appreciated the friendly and helpful service provided by everyone.

The sea-view terrace was a real highlight, I enjoyed several drinks there. The spa also offered relaxation opportunities. I did not personally use the spa. The facilities enhanced the overall experience at this hotel.
