Check-in was fast. Rooms have plenty of tea and coffee. A hot chocolate with marshmallows was available at reception. I received a welcome drink for Christmas.
My room had a strong chemical smell so I opened the window.

the breakfast area proved overly noisy during peak hours. this made conversation difficult. additionally, i found the lack of hot water one morning following a late-night fire alarm distinctly inconvenient. a working towel rail would have been beneficial too.

i found that the air conditioning unit turned itself off during the night, resulting in uncomfortable hot temperatures by 5am. staff indicated this was potentially a company-controlled policy. i expect consistent climate control.

The location allowed easy access to shops and bars nearby.
The corridor carpet on the first floor had many stains. The room felt cramped considering the price I paid. I also noticed hairs stuck to the walls behind the shower curtain it was not appealing.
